Confederate flag license plate flap to last longer than Civil War
We'll be dead before this is settled. So we hope someone blogs the outcome for us.

We're talking about the Sons of Confederate Veterans' fight for a specialty license plate. The battle now rages in federal court.
The group behind the plate just won a legal battle when a U.S. District judge denied the state's effort to toss the lawsuit, which was filed earlier this year, reports the Orlando Sentinel.
Here's the backstory:
In 2008, the Sons of Confederate Veterans tried to get lawmakers to pass a bill that would add its plate to the list of specialty tags.
The group completed the requirements: a $60,000 application fee, a marketing strategy and a survey with 30,000 motor-vehicle owners who say they intend to buy the tag. That in itself took some time.
But the group couldn't make the last hurdle — legislative approval.
A bill died in the House of Representatives and no bill was sponsored in the Senate.
The group took their fight to federal court, saying the state process is flawed and unfair.
Would you buy this plate?
