Thanks so very much for the kind words for Cross City and Dixie County. I am preparing a "Certificate of Appreciation" for Angela Carter and the MLK Parade Committee, which will be presented at our Camp meeting next Tuesday, if Angela can attend. I think we, all of us, took some very big steps on the 18th, and you and Terry Lee were the true stars of the day.

I must admit to considerable unease leading up to the Parade. But as we were waiting for the other participants to arrive, I looked up at the clear blue sky and saw the most amazing thing I've ever seen: a perfect St. Andrews Cross in the sky directly overhead. I suppose that it was vapor trails from aircraft, but to me it sure looked like a Good Omen. Keen Lightfoot managed to get a good picture of it, which I am attaching. I think of it as "Our Confederate Sky", and have been using this picture as my Home Page for my internet browser. I think you'll appreciate it.
