My brother,

Just wanted to make you aware of what is coming up in Knoxville that we welcome you to be a part of.

Battle of Fort Sanders: October 17th and 18th with a school day on Friday the 16th. We will most likely be set up on Saturday and Sunday and we would very much like you to attend as you did last year.

City of Clinton Veterans Day Celebration

On November 8th at 1:00 p.m. a parade honoring our Veterans will take place at Market Street and Main Street.

We have been told we can set up our tent, if we wish, in a park area downtown and sell merchandise. You are invited to come, march with us and raise a little money if you can.

On Wednesday November 11 we are planning on boycotting the Veterans Day Parade in Knoxville as we have again been denied to march with the soldiers flag. I will call you on this.

Of course we want you in Knoxville for our Lee Jackson Dinner on the 23rd of January. Our speaker this year is Rev. John Weaver from Georgia.
