Mr. Edgerton,

Hello. My name's William Germany. I was pleased and surprised to see photos of you in uniform and stories about your adventures carrying the flag. I'm sure you're a busy gentleman, so I won't type out some long, blown-up missive. Rather, let me be very direct and say that you're a respected figure around here, and our local SCV camp (#227 Jones County Rosin Heels, Laurel MS) will welcome you with open arms if you should find yourself in MS. You won't lack for hospitality and comradeship from other men in grey. I wish you the best, and my only regret is that I can't march alongside you.
