Injustice brewing in Homestead Florida

Greetings Mr. Edgerton,

First let me start by saying that I am inspired daily by your commitment and dedication to southern heritage and to the education of the truth behind the cause for which our ancestors stood side by side and fought for. I have been a member of the SCV for only a few months now but have dedicated myself to being active by taking on projects and learning as much as I can about our heritage. One of those projects was transitioning our website to a new site and adding more educational material, www.scv357.org. Through my research and design for this website, I dedicated a section to Black Confederate Veterans in a hope to share and honor their fight and struggle. In this section, I linked to your site and I have used two of your video's. Personally, researching this history of the Confederate cause as made me a more complete person. Thank you.

What sparked me e-mailing you was the video story I just finished watching about the parade struggle in Homestead, Florida that is currently taking place. Here is the link http://cosmos.bcst.yahoo.com/up/player/popup/index.php?cl=15395884

These falsehoods and untruths are occurring across this country. I understand that this is a struggle that will continue for many years to come due primarily to the public education systems in this country. The only way I see a win in these situations is to legally fight these falsehoods one at a time.

I wanted to bring this particular injustice to your attention because after watching the video I realized what a great leader you have stood for in preserving and telling the truth about our heritage.

Thank You,

Bradley Adams
