Mr Brandon.
You are correct in stating that I do not know you, however the way a person writes and the attitude that shows in that writing tells a lot about the person. You think of HK as "Uncle HK, hat in hand, shuffling up to de white folks, asking for money because he is a worthless, no count, lazy, shiftless ______. I want you to know that HK has never asked me for a dime.
To the best of my knowledge he is a gentleman and a gentle man. He didn't ask me to get involved with you. I decided to enter the fray after reading your insipid letter with it's vailed racist intent. Al Sharpton, jesse Jackson and others of that ilk will say they aren't racist, but you are right up there with them.
How often have you marched across Dixie or the north, setting history right? I know that HK has been beaten by angry blacks in his own town. How often have you faced an angry crowd and taken a beating for what you believe? I think you would run like the little ferret you are.
I have not been duped by HK and I am not going to be duped by you. I pity you, in a way. You and others like you are jealous of a negro. You can't stand it that a black man is doing a better job of correcting history than you will do. You could help out and do it too, but you won't.
I want you to know a little about me. I am white, 68 years old and was raised in a segregated society. I was a bigot, but I grew up and learned that some things should be corrected. I rode and walked through the colored section of Raleigh in the 60's during all the racial tension. I was never bothered by anyone. I happened to go into a colored restaurant one day to get a cheeseburger, and asked the guy if they served white folks. He said he guessed so...the supreme court said he had to.
What I am saying here Mr Brandon, is that you need take some time and think thru some things about yourself. You need to think clearly about the job HK has and is doing. You need to stop letting other rabble influence you. You may be an alright guy, but what you have written so far tells me a different story.
