Dear Mr. H.K., Sir;

You have done nothing to embarrass any of us in the SCV. That idiot in Florida needs a few lessons to learn. I suspect he will eventually be reprimanded and hopefully denied "any" access to the SCV in the future.

You and your good name stands for "all the SCV" purposes and what we stand for. So you are speaking for us all in this unfortunate "BIGOTED, HATE FILLED," idiot.

He in no way represents the SCV in Florida or any other State of the South and I think he is in for a rude awakening from Elm Springs.

It's good that you are such a peaceful and humble man as God wants us to be that way.

But I can only be so tolerant of such a person. It does not last long at all. I would vote to cast him out of the SCV and if he is a member of the MOS&B I will surly inform them as I am a member of both. My G G Grandpa was a poor dirt farmer who gave 10 acres to an escaped Slave Family before the war even broke out.

Their descendants are still living on that same 10 acre track. I have kept in touch with them for years. My Daddy used to take me to visit. I have never ate black walnut fudge and divinity that was as good as Miss. Millie can make. It was instilled in me at a young age that we were well represented by this family.

They are and always have been Members of the Camden Methodist Church in Camden MO. as they sat with us at services. Once a year all Church members brought a home made dish of food. Tables and tables of plenty of food and deserts.

I ate so much of Miss Millie's delights that made me really appreciate excellent divinity which is made real fluffy and full of pecan's. I have never tasted anyone's divinity that could beat hers. She doesn't use any marshmallows like so many others do. She told me it made it too gooey. Hew's melts in your mouth like cotton candy but much tastier.

So you might say the Crowder family is truly a part of our family. I played with Miss. Millie's boys of which she had four. We used to play ball and ride horses their Daddy owned. I grew up learning to eat Soul or Southern recipes. That lady can cook and bake.

But back to you and this idiot. Are you planning to come to Beauvoir for Confederate Memorial Day in Biloxi MS. this Saturday coming up. I would really be honored to meet you in person.

Our Commander "Russel Foster" is always raving about you and how much you have done for the SCV over the years. We put aside funds for you every month. I know he would be very much surprised and speaking for our Camp 373 of Picayune MS. and Camp 596 of Biloxi at Beauvoir we would all be so honored.

I began out at Camp 596 but the traffic lights and distance was further than 373 in Picayune so I transferred back in 2002.

May God Bless you with his Holy Spirit and follow you wherever your travels take you. Especially to "Florida."

I don't believe this man holds the power to keep you from speaking to fellow SCV camps in Florida. I would not call it off just because of him and his ignorant mind. I would contact Elm Springs if it were me. I know Elm Springs values your constant education of our History as it truly happened and how well the Black and White man got along in the South. I live 50 mile N/E of Jackson Square in the Big Easy. I love New Orleans and the friendly atmosphere there. All folks down here on the Gulf Coast have always "been poor bayou folks, like me." We have no room for racism here as we are all poor alike. There is no color barrier when you are all poor. We help each other without regard to race. That's why I am so very adamant about you pursuing this action.

I pray the Good Lord Blesses you abundantly in all of your endeavors.

Your Brother,
John Storms Camp 373 Gainesville Vol's in Picayune MS.

You are a Gentleman and a man with the faith of God behind you and I believe HE will vindicate you.
