Tennessee Slavery Regret Resolution

From: joey nolan
Date: Wed, Mar 25, 2009

Mr. HK,

This is from one of your friends in Tennessee. I wish the lawmakers in Tennessee would listen to you and let you tell them the truth, which they do not want to hear. The truth hurts and they can't handle it. God have mercy on America and the South.

BTW, I got my book published and it has been well received thus far. I will try to send you a copy in a few days. Thank you for all you do for our noble ancestors.

Has anyone else read the story on the www.newchannel5.com concerning the lady ion the state legislature who is seeking a resolution of regret from the state of Tennessee? This is the sort of thing which outrages me personally and boils my blood. I believe we all agree that slavery was wrong and wish it had never taken place, but I had nothing to do with it, so therefore I have no apology to make. BIG surprise, they did not have a link to allow comments on the story. Can anyone suggest the best way to express our displeasure over this waste of taxpayer money in regard to the time spent on this matter?
