Mr. Edgerton,

I wish I had known of your walk to the White House, I am only an hour from DC, I would have come out to see you. Did you ever receive a response from President Obama? I'm glad to see that you are still carrying on your mission, it's time that the truth was made public. I think that is why this nation is in the condition it is in now. While the end of slavery was a great victory, no one realizes the cost to individual liberty and states rights engendered by the loss of the Confederacy.
