Dear HK, Mr. Parks and All Proud Southerners,

I think this is exactly what has been needed for years and now we have alot of lost ground to make up. Other organizations have paid big money for Lobbyists to get their causes and agendas passed. Has the SCV ever thought of hiring someone to lobby our politicians so that our voices will be heard over the voices of the NAACP? If I had my choice, I would never want to use a Lobbyist, but when you play with the big boys, you have to play on even terms. What we have been doing the last years hasn't been working. Now, we are closer than ever to lose our southern symbols, heritage and pride: especially with this being the year of Lincoln's 200th birthday and the inauguration of Pres. Obama who has immortalized Lincoln to a god status....We have alot of work ahead of us and I believe that HK is the one who can get this done for us....God Bless You, HK.....

We could start a national fundraiser to help with the monies that will be needed. We have national fundraisers all the time for different monuments around the country to honor our brave men, but these monuments will be taken down one day if we don't do something about getting the word out about the TRUE history of the War Between The States and the real reasons our brave ancestors fought in this war. We are letting the YANKEES re-write OUR HISTORY!!! We have got to stop this NOW!!! If every SCV camp or SCV member donated $5 or $10 to get this fundraiser going, we could then have yearly events to raise money specifically for this endeavor.
