An idea

Dear H.K.:

I continue to enjoy reading your posts. It is rewarding, to say the very least, to bve able to participate, at least vicariously, in your triumphs all across the South.

Now: I'd like to suggest a new attack..., and one of considerable scale. And, if we can put it together, I'd like you to join me in making it.

As I know you know, President Barack Obama's mother was a white woman. I'm told, though I cannot yet prove, that her ancestors (some of them) came from Bardstown, Kentucky. Bardstown was a firmly Confederate city. I think it's quite likely that she had Confederate ancestors. If so, of course, so would HE.

His ancestor would of course have to be white, for his black ancestors were still deep in east Africa at the time, and he has no "slave blood", at all (a great shame, it seems to me; as we've discussed before, slavery was in some ways a very positive experience. I regret that that experience cannot be brought to bear in Mr. Obama's decisions).

Anyway: If I can find a Confederate ancestor, then I propose to put him in the SCV and in the Kentucky Division, and I propose to go to Washington D.C. to present it. Want to join me, if I can make it happen?
