Your SCV chapter and H. K. Edgerton

What an absolute stroke of genius, inviting H. K. Edgerton to Delaware for the parade! I am very thankful that he was able to attend.

H.K. will be in my "neck of the woods" on December 8, and I plan to "get off my duff" and drive out to Conyers to see him.

By a stroke of luck, a fellow in my high school graduation class, Tom Tarrant, lives in Asheville, NC, and frequently has breakfast with H. K. I learned of H. K. through Tom. (We kid H. K. because he has hash browns instead of grits, as a "true Southern gentleman would!"

Thanks for the photographs, which H. K. emailed to me. They are wonderful. I shall share them with my United Daughters of the Confederacy chapters (I'm transplanted to Georgia from North Carolina).
