God bless the Sons of the Confederate, who had a God given right to fight for liberty. God forbid they roll over and accept a levy that was forced down their throats.

The battle went the way of the Union, but the Sons won the war when Andrew Johnson took office and held the Nation together on the back of unity! The Tennessee way, he earned his position... from indentured servitude to the White House. He never let tyranny rule, and the South... the U.S.A. is better off because of it!

Now as far as the KKK they destroy the meaning of the Confederate Battle Flag. If Gen. Forest started it in Pulaski TN, I have never heard that. The Klan started as a group that wanted to PURIFY their ethnic group and hate other ethnicity's and religious groups. That is wrong and was never what the Confederates were about. The true Rebels were defending their right to free speech and low tariffs. I have ancestors who fought for the South. My Great-great grandfather was multi ethnic (English/African/Native American), Butler Owens. He stood beside his Countrymen when he wore the Grey uniform. He defended his family and his property (he too came through indentured servitude like the 17th President).

We should remember slavery was a legal institution under the Stars and Stripes, not the Confederate Battle Flag!
