Mr. Edgerton, it was a pleasure to meet you yesterday in Ringgold, and I hope you have been able to view the story I posted about your visit online at catoosanews.com. There are a few questions I wish I had thought to ask you yesterday. Perhaps you wouldn't mind responding to them now.

1. Are you aware, and what are your feelings about the fact that the African American community of Ringgold led the charge in 2005 to take the Confederate Battle Flag down from the Depot on the grounds that it is an offensive symbol?

2. How far along is the SLRC in its plans for legal action against the city of Ringgold?

3. How can I get in touch with Kirk Lyons, legal council for the SLRC?
