I know that you do not remember me, but I meet you briefly at the SCV Convention here in Nashville a couple of years or so ago.

I want to thank you for all that you have done in defense of Southern Heritage over the years. I don't blame you for your decision. One does have to have money to survive. I have worked for the state as a "public servant" for the past 26+ years & make just enough money to get by & feed my family. You know how it is. If I had a million dollars I would give it to you for all of the work you have done. You deserve it! I would also give a million to the SCV & the SLRC. The South need's all of her sons & daughters - more now than ever. Where are they? Most don't know or don't care & are too involved with their daily lives & families (including myself) to make a stand for what is just & right. So sad isn't it.

I believe that the South & this nation is going to fall- & maybe not in the too distant future. I'm sure my ancestors & yours are "turning over in their graves" with all that has happened over the past 10- 20 years. I hope that I'm wrong, but I hope that I'm not around when it happens, although I fear for my children & grand children. What will be their future?

Anyway, I'll quit rambling. I'm sure that you have more important things to do than read this. I do want to "thank you from the bottom of my heart" for all that you have done & tried to do in defense of Southern Heritage. Maybe we will meet again one day. If not in this world, the next one.
