Sir,

I was privileged to meet you at a re-enactment in SC about three years ago. I was there as a spectator on that particular occasion. I was really excited when I realized you were there.

As I introduced myself and we visited, I found you to be a very warm, gracious, and friendly gentleman. I also could see your dedication and your love for our South in your eyes.

I am a pastor, and I understand what it is to live "paycheck-to-paycheck." I appreciate very much your willingness to sacrifice the way you did to get the truth about the South and our heritage out to the many that you did.

May God bless you as you "shift gears" into a more stable, and I hope, a happy and peaceful, "civilian" life.
