Tenn. Division Echo: H. K. Edgerton

Gentlemen of the Division,
I truly hope that someone can intercede with H. K. and change his mind
about giving up the fight for Southern Heritage.
I have witnessed on many occasions the impact he has on people and the
tremendous value he has in confronting our enemies armed with his
knowledge and commitment to the truth.
I have seen many who thought they knew what they were talking about
retreat from one on one debates with him with their tails between their
legs.
His support for Southern Heritage and the victories he has one are too
numerous to list.
A couple that pop to mind are the victory at East Tennessee University
where he demanded and won an apology for a young student who had been
embarrassed by his professor.
The hanging of the Confederate Flag at Gettysburg where he joined the SCV
against the racist artist.
I stood beside him in Maryville when he went toe to toe with members of
the Black Community who declared they felt the flag was racist and liberal
members of the community who were so woefully ignorant of the facts that
it was laughable. I watched him turn that confrontation around watched
those who moments before were in argument embrace.
This man has led the charge for a number of years and has done more than
anyone I know to further our cause.
As Chairman of Heritage of Defense for the Tenn. Division, I consider him
a friend and i am genuinely proud to know him. He has done much to help
make my job easier.
He is a Christian man and I believe he has truthfully presented his case
for his need of support in carrying on what had become his mission in
life.
I hope his detractors are happy that their carping has finally beaten him
down and that they have gotten their way like the spoiled brats they are.
Finally I ask those who have been critical of him to step up and fill the
void. But I will not hold my breath.
