Hope that you folks have heard of the guest who was on the Glenn Beck radio program who slandered General Forest in the worst way. They mentioned that General Forrest started the KKK but failed to mention that he disbanded it due to in his words "attracting too many rascals". Also no mention of the 44 slaves who served the Southland with honor and blood.

I consider Glenn Beck a very good person in search of the truth but he was totally snowballed by his guest today. The guest mentioned The Battle Fort Pillow and Mr. Beck appologized stating that he knew nothing of Fort Pillow. This gave the guest the open opportunity to give the Union version of the battle. Fort Pillow is something which I am ashamed of when so many black troops after surrendering were killed but When the guest mentioned Andersonville Prision he spoke as if the south planned the suffering there. Not a word being spoken of Point Lookout Maryland where black confederates were shot down in cold blood before ever making it through the Prison gates. My great great great grandfather was emprisoned at Point Lookout Prison Camp.

I sure do wish Mr. Beck could hear the truth from Southern Heritage 411.

God Bless you all!

John Anderson
