An Open Letter / Keynote Speech Lee Chapel

Dear Steve,

I did not know that your dear mom had passed away. She will certainly run into my mom in Heaven, because my mom will be wearing General Lee's ears out about her sons in Dixieland standing up for the dry bones of our ancestors.

I shall lament over not hearing your Keynote speech in Lee Chapel in Lexington in January. However I'm sure that they will need a bucket of paint after you get through peeling it off the walls. Poor General Lee will have to deal with your mom and mine with all that bragging.

The Army of Tennessee would do itself proud to have a relative of General Lee's as a Councilman, and especially you, Steve Ritchie. If Commander Givens wasn't doing such a great job, I'd tell you that you should be running for Commander In Chief.

You better have one very Merry and Happy Christmas, because if you don't, moms in Heaven will haunt you buddy. Always remember they want their children to be happy. And I shall be happy with the knowledge that our moms will be sitting at the Table of Brotherhood in Heaven with the Lee and Edgerton families present as you deliver your message in the Shrine City. Please give everyone present Terry Lee and my highest regards God bless you.

Your brother,
HK
