Brother HK,
Please keep us informed about your ankle. I'm very sorry to hear of that incident and hope the person who did this is punished. God help us all.

Dear Bill & Ms. Pam,
I just left Dr. Payne's office, and I feel so good after he adjusted my ankle, taped it and gave me hand accupuncture. I wasn't feeling so good when I entered his office, but now I feel like I could do ten more miles. God bless you, and thanks so much for your kindness and support. Please give your wife a big hug for me.
Your brother,
HK

Dear HK,
Take it easy for awhile and you will recover to walk your courses again. Your facebook buddies have responded with well wishes also. You are admired and respected from many quarters, but there are those, uneducated, who believe that flag you carry is evil.
I pray for them to awaken. I pray and work for the Cause, for we are the true Americans. Pam says Hi and has your hug. Hope to see you again soon.
Your brother,
Bill

Dear Bill,
Thank you for the very kind message. I began walking up Highway 9 again on Friday morning. My ankle is a still sore, but onward I must go. I am agonizing on whether to have this young man arrested. I picked up a copy of the investigation yesterday from the Black Mountain police department, and was told to deliver it to the magistrate in Asheville, and that the young man would be picked up and charged. Those charges would likely ruin his young life. I await the response of the owner of the cleaners when he returns on Monday morning, August 15, 2011. Most including the Honorable Attorney Kirk D. Lyons are advising me to have the young man arrested, but it's not that easy for me to do so. I shall continue to pray and will make that decision on Monday. God bless you, and many thanks for your support.
Your brother,
HK

Dear HK,
I believe you will recover soon....ankles are slow to heal. I understand how you feel concerning the young man who assaulted you and know it is a hard decision for you. If you choose not to press charges, maybe you can set him down at Southern Legal and have him watch videos about Southern heritage and why you do the marches....just an idea. Maybe he will understand then, and pass the message along to his friends. I pray for you in this decision and for a recovery to get you back on the road. So many have come to depend on you as a full time ambassador for our Cause.
God bless and keep you,
Brother Bill
