My brother,

In regard to a run for the White House, I would like to express my true and heartfelt concerns at this time. You know that I would support you along with thousands of other Southerners but bare in mind that you and I share a dream. Like Dr. King said: "I have a dream that one day on the red hills of Georgia, the sons of former slaves and the sons of former slave owners will be able to sit together at the table of brotherhood". We only add that it should be under the shadow of Saint Andrews Cross. You have been our greatest ambassador to that cause. Please do not let the politics of Washington divert your path. What would you gain by being the leader of a country that still hates Southerners and promotes hatred among it's people. Our Southland is in grave danger. There our many who would destroy our heritage and our way of life. We have many battles yet to fight and you are among our greatest leaders. The public sentiment is on the side of people who's hearts are filled with hatred. I do not like to quote the tyrant Abraham Lincoln but he like most politicians mixed truth in with his lies:

1) "With public sentiment, nothing can fail. Without it, nothing can succeed."

2) "Our government rests in public opinion. Whoever can change public opinion, can change the government, practically just so much."

3) "He who molds the public sentiment...makes statutes and decisions possible or impossible to make."

4) "Public opinion in this country is everything."

5) The philosophy of the school room in one generation will be the philosophy of government in the next.

We should focus our full attention to the restoration of truth and the defense of our heritage. These people know that to distort our past would misdirect our future. Southerners are in danger of extinction. These people are teaching our children a lie and have blocked to us from bringing in the truth. They have blocked us from the media to keep our voices from being heard. They are tearing down our monuments, removing our symbols and slandering our heroes. If we let them win, there will be no country left to lead. Once we have restored the South to its proper strength and honor then you can lead a stronger nation. As always, I respect your decisions and you have my support but please help us to win the war at hand before you take on a new battle.
