Question Regarding Documentary Project

Hi Mr. Edgerton,
My name is Alex Pegg, and I'm a senior photojournalism student at UNC. For my capstone project, I am doing a photo documentary on the idea of Southern heritage, the Confederate flag, and what it symbolizes today to people of the South. I came across your name in my research, and was wondering if you might be able to participate.
I am trying to present an unbiased account of the different perspectives on these issues and the attitudes that shape people's understanding of the South and the flag. I would love to speak with you and get your personal perspective on it, if you'd be willing. I feel that you would be able to offer strong, insightful comments that would help to bring a more universal understanding to your unique perspective.
I am also interested in coming to any events that you will be participating in that are relevant to the topic. Any information you could provide would be very helpful.
Thanks so much, and let me know if this is something you'd be interested in discussing further.

Dear Alex,
I would suggest that first you view my web site: www.southernheritage411.com. I will be speaking at Furman University on April 12, 2011, and at the Masonic lodge in downtown Latta, South Carolina on Monday evening at 6:30 PM. Time permitting, I 'll participate in your project. God bless you.
