H. K. Edgerton is the well-knoown Black CSA supporter from Asheville, NC, who marched through Roswell in October, 2007. Ray Barry and I met him as he reached Roswell, dressed as usual in his Confederate uniform and carrying the battle flag. I then accompanied him as far as Bulloch Hall, where there happened to be a group of tourists to whom we gave an impromptu talk about the CSA. They were fascinated, especially when invited to question HK (he gave great answers). Afterwards, HK and I met Jim Jarocki at the Southern Skillet for lunch and then HK continued on his way (I had notified the Atlanta Camp of his approach).

Five years previously HK had marched all the way tho Texas!

I have stayed in touch with HK since before his march through Roswell. He is a true, loyal, highly intelligent testimony to what we need to tell the story of our Cause. If he runs for President, he has my vote!
