Dear Mr. Edgerton-

I just wanted to let you know that I am 30 years old and have just learned about Lincoln's War of Northern Agression and my Southern Heritage. Before, I was ignorant of American History and I was your typical young American... not knowing my past and only focused on making money and my own selfish hobbies.

After the 787 billion dollar banker bailout I became interested in politics...Which led me to research American History, the Constitution, and such politicians as Ron Paul. After reading 'The Real Lincoln' and 'The South was Right', I did research on my ancestry and joined the Sons of the Confederacy. I saw you on the television one day while at work, and it made me proud to hear you speak about our brave ancestors. I was insulted by the young CNN news anchor who kept interrupting you.. It is okay to disagree with someone, but he obviously wasn't raised right... He should know that you respect your elders and allow them to finish their point before speaking...

I created a blog called http://www.tennesseesonsofliberty.com/ . I have some success with it and have proudly included links and essays about Southern Heritage and Pride in order to educate our fellow Southerners and anyone else wishing to learn the true history of the 'Civil War'.

I will ask some of the Republican and/or Tea Party groups if they could raise money to have you travel to Tennessee to speak to our groups. I made it a goal to meet Ron Paul, one of my heroes, and I accomplished that. I am now making it my goal to meet you, shake your hand, and thank you personally for your efforts on educating modern Americans about our deceased brethren.
