Upon hearing the sad news of H.K. Edgerton having to abandon his march to Washington D.C. due to lack of funding and support, I was outraged by my fellow southerners. All of us who are proud of our heritage and desires for it to be remembered for the brave men who fought and died for the cause of the Confederacy should lower their heads in shame for not supporting this man and his great cause…..our case…our heritage of the great south.

He dedicates all of his time, spirit and soul for the cause. Walking miles and miles everyday preparing for this march on behalf of us proud Confederates and this is how we repay him??

If everyone, who loves the south, sent him just $10 he would have more than enough to be our voice in Washington and in other arenas that need to hear the truth of the heritage of our brave men of grey. To help stop the hatred among our brothers because of ignorance. To stop the ongoing stereo-typing of the south. Through his ability to educate and transform the hardest of hearts into a deeper understanding of the truth of our ancestors and why they fought for their homeland.

H.K.’s stand, not only defends our history, our flag and heritage but for free speech itself, as it is slowly being stolen away from us under the shield of “political correctness”.

As for all those who did send support, a deep hearted THANK YOU.

To those who did not, you should feel ashamed!! Shame on those for not following the southern tradition of support for our brother, for truth and for what is right!
