HK,

This is Jim with the Southern Soldiers Remembrance Fund. I'm the fellow that spoke with you at the Dixie Days event a couple of months back, about you attending our headstone dedication at Hollywood Cemetery November the 11th. You came by and tried to help me sell off some of my goods from a Sulery I was closing down. I want you to know I appreciate all you have done for the Southern Cause. I don't know what they did to up set you or make you feel you're not wanted or needed, because you didn't say in your open letter. I would like to say I liked you from the first time we met, up at Hollywood a few years back, and respect your guts for standing up when others just cowarded in the shadows. HK, don't give up man, yours and my ancestors just didn't quit, and I'm asking you not to either. I don't have a lot, and I'm just now getting back on my feet. Supporting the casue and this headstone fund has cost me dearly. I've had to take to driving a truck long distance to get out of the hole. Until January I won't have much time because of my schedule, and like wise I 'll be short on cash until then when I finally get everyone paid off. But I'll support you in you efforts any way I can. Just don't quit. Hang in there, I am. It gets frustrating, but in the end it'll be worth our efforts. No matter what you end up doing, please know you have one friend, and you'll always be welcome at my place and at my table. If you'd like to talk about this give me a call 804-994-8646. Until next time may the Lord keep you and yours

Warmest Southern Regards
Jim Phelps
