We of the South are today all that may be honorably meant by the expression " loyal American citizens, But, we are also loyal to the memory of our glorious dead, and we should defend them in our way from
false and foul aspersions of Northern historians and Southern scalawags as long as brain can think or tongue and pen can do their office.
You really had an impact on the students and helped bring a new perspective to what we have been learning from our history book!
Re: An Open Letter / Mock Brief; HK Edgerton vs United States Congress / Confederate Battle Flag
If we can show that the NAACP has a history of engaging in political activity regarding the CBF in lobbying and agitating for its removal, with marches, political pressure, public and media pronouncements, applying boycotts, etc. then surely we can have their 501 C 3 status revoked.
An Open Letter and Open Response / Confederate Heritage and History Month
There have been so many queries made to me about the events surrounding the Southern Cross on display during Confederate Heritage and History Month, and its removal from display at the State Capitol in Raleigh, North Carolina. What my thoughts are? What am I going to do?
Thank You Again! / An Open Reply
It is I who am humbled and proud of the courage that you displayed in the face of political correctness, and a school system by its design that was established to squash any relevance to the reasons that the people of the South had for defending their homeland from an illegal invasion by those who had a disregard for the Constitution.

I have faith that just maybe your baby girl will find in the hallowed grounds of the Shenandoah Valley a door open as I did for the side of a story that her ancestors told so differently.
Re: An Open Letter / Southern Blacks And The Star And Stripes / Conversations In The Streets
I'm giving this warning to the Southern Blacks and Southern Whites. If you don't settle your differences about this Confederate flag and come together there will be no help for the citizens of the south or other parts of the so called United States.

I am writing to ask your advice on how to approach the subject matter that my 4th grade daughter is being taught in history. The information being force fed to these little children is deplorable and runs the whole spectrum of Union-biased propaganda.
An Open Letter / Southern Blacks And The Star And Stripes / Conversations In The Streets
Several young Black folks would surround me yesterday in what is called the Black Historic District that is no more in the City of Asheville. And as is usual these days, the subject of the Confederate Flag, and my relationship with the Honorable Attorney Kirk D. Lyons, would ensue.
An Open Letter / Mock Brief; HK Edgerton vs United States Congress / Confederate Battle Flag
For those who suffer from political, social and economic exclusion, haters of the Southland and its symbols have propped up once again the Bill of Rights, the Statue of Liberty, and Old Glory to mask the exclusivity of their real ideology by convincing the NAACP to attack the Confederate Battle Flag as if it was the central cause of the broken promises and betrayal of those ideals expressed in the aforementioned.

My mama used to say that the pot can't call the kettle black. The Northern political antagonists came and with their lies and force used a hapless African people to secure their plunder of the South. The Legislatures of the South became a place to divide their booty as they further bankrupted the Southern States and at last left with their ill gotten gains when there was nothing left to steal.

Re: An Open Report And Open Letter - February 26
Memphis is my home and I remember when Memphis was a large city with a small town atmosphere. I hope to go back, but not if my sacrifice, and the sacrifice of my brothers and sisters, is dishonored. I don't think we can honor one set and dishonor another.

Check This Out, Brother HK / An Open Reply
It is great news to read that the City Council in Reidsville, N.C. did the right thing in its decision to place the Confederate Soldiers Monument back in its place of honor.
The Emancipation Proclamation did not free one single slave in the South because these States had left the Union, and the Federal government had no control over these territories. Not one slave was set free in the States of the North or the Border States where the Federal Government had control.
