Thank you H.K. You know I am your Southern brother and that black or white is just a color. I've been proud to be a member of the League of the South as long as I have been in the SCV. The League has some good and intelligent members and it can be political whereas the SCV cannot be in most cases. We who love the South must stick together and support the organizations that fight on the side of Southerners and all who love the old Constitution.
I know there are some bigots in the League and there are some in the SCV. Fact is there are some in church too; but the folks I associate with are not. They are everywhere and I know also there are black folks that hate white folks simply because they are white. I wish this were not so. Eric Richardson said it best: White Southerners have much more in common with Black Southerners than they do with white yankees. I have to say that the yankee race (and they are surely a separate race) are the only class of people I truly cannot abide.
The one thing that I do know also is that you are my friend and a friend of my family. We love you and are very proud of the sacrifice that you and Terry Lee make for the South.
Miss Peyton, Graham, and Mrs. Teri send their regards to you and hope that you are well. Al will be contacting you soon to engage your help with an event we are planning at the Alamance Battleground next year.
Keep on telling the truth!
