I think that my Southern babies would say; its about time Mr. HK; now this is the kind of civil disobedience we've been talking about; please tell Mr.Hicks.
I am so very proud of these Chapters that are springing up all over the land. In these years of the Sesquicentennial of the War Between the States, it is important that this nation remove the wrongful stigma of humiliation that it places on the people, and importantly those historical symbols that identify us as Southern and, yes, indeed the ones who made an Honorable Stand, be they freed, or indentured in the Southland of America, in defense of their homeland that had been illegally invaded, and their constitutional right to leave a union that set itself above the sovereignty of the State broken.
These Flaggers too make a stand for the loyal Southern African, be they freed or indentured, whose honorable place in history as a man who stood by, and beside a man that he called not only Master, but also family and friend in lieu of the economic institution of slavery. A history hijacked by those who profit from telling their distorted and most oft lie of that time before, during and after the war, wrongfully using a loyal man as the weapon of choice against his Southern White family, while sticking it to him. God bless any and all who understand that as a people of the South, we will always defend our symbols and way of life, and always respecting our neighbor in doing the same, while the whole of the nation will find no better patriot.
