Absolutely! There's a reason so many African-Americans are moving back to the South. I'm a white woman, originally from Oklahoma, living in East Orange, NJ, where the black population is somewhere around 90%. In the 11 years I've been in my building, three families moved to South Carolina, one moved to North Carolina, and one moved to Georgia. Last month, my best friend in the building told me that they're hoping to move to Georgia before the next school year starts. A couple of the chefs in my cafeteria at work have family who have moved down South and one of them is already making plans to move to North Carolina when he retires. And the same reason has been given for all these moves and potential moves: "People down there are so NICE!"
