HK,
My son is attempting to write an essay for his English & History classes on a modern day activist and he chose you.
Is there a resource or biographical information we could use for this project?
There is a lot on the internet pro and con but not a lot about your journey from an activist in the NAACP to traveling the country to tell the truth about the Confederacy and black/white relations historically.
We recently moved from NC to Alaska. The notion that a man like HK Edgerton exists is quite shocking to my son's peers and teachers.
We really would appreciate whatever you can share as we would like to bring some truth to the extreme North of the USA.
Thank you and God bless,
Mike and Joshua Noe

Dear Mike,
First, let me apologize for the late reply. Please tell your son to visit my website (www.southernheritage411.com). I believe there he will find what he seeks. My brother has just released a Pictorial Documentary Book on the Historic March Across Dixie that pretty much closes the mouth of a lot of those who tell a tale that is not fair to those of us who call ourselves Southern, before, during, and after the War Between the States. If there is anything further that I can offer please free to contact me again. God bless you, and please give your baby boy a big hug for me, and tell him that I am honored. God bless you.
